- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
- 3/4 cup caramel sauce
- Sliced bananas for garnish
- Caramel sauce for garnish
- Whole peanuts for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Mix this well and press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Chill in the refrigerator.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling: Beat softened cream cheese with 3/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
- Assemble the Cheesecake: Pour the filling over the crust and sprinkle peanuts on top. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 50 minutes, until set.
- Garnish and Serve: Cool the cheesecake completely, drizzle with caramel sauce, and chill for at least 4 hours. Garnish with sliced bananas, more caramel, and whole peanuts before serving.
Notes
For best results, chill overnight. Use ripe bananas for better flavor.
