Description
A refreshing twist on the classic Caprese salad, combining strawberries, mozzarella, and basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into thin, even pieces.
- Slice the fresh mozzarella into rounds approximately the same thickness as the strawberries.
- On a serving platter, alternate layers of strawberry slices, mozzarella slices, and fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze evenly over the salad.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Serve immediately as a refreshing appetizer or side dish.

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Best enjoyed the same day it’s made.
