- 4 skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch cracked pepper
- Mozzarella cheese (to taste)
- Balsamic glaze (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, oregano, basil, salt, and cracked pepper.
- Brush the mixture over the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes of baking, top each chicken breast with mozzarella cheese and return to the oven until the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle more balsamic glaze before serving. Use fresh herbs for enhanced taste and consider marinating the chicken for a few hours.
