Description

A stunning and delicious layered dessert featuring rich chocolate flavors, creamy cheesecake texture, and the smooth kick of Bailey’s Irish Cream.


Ingredients

  • 250g chocolate biscuits
  • 600g cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 400ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/4 cup chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Crush the chocolate biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor or by using a rolling pin in a zip-top bag.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add Bailey’s Irish Cream and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  3. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Layer half of the biscuit crumbs at the bottom of a trifle dish or large glass bowl. Spoon half of the cheesecake mixture over the crumbs and drizzle with melted dark chocolate.
  5. Repeat the layering process with the remaining biscuit crumbs and cheesecake mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow flavors to meld. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings and an additional drizzle of melted dark chocolate.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. You can substitute Bailey’s with other flavored liqueurs or adjust sugar for sweetness.
