- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
- 2 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 20 Oreo cookies, crushed
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth and well combined. Add Baileys and continue beating until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until it thickens. Add Baileys, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar; beat until stiff peaks form.
- Crush Oreo cookies in a plastic bag using a rolling pin until small crumbles form.
- Layer the trifles in serving glasses starting with cookie crumbs, then chocolate cheesecake, followed by whipped cream. Repeat layers.
- Pipe whipped cream on top of each trifle, if desired, and garnish with crushed Oreo cookies.
Notes
Serve immediately for the best texture. Can be made in advance but best consumed within 2 days.
