- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whipped topping or whipped cream
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate pudding
- 1 cup chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chunks
- Fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until well combined. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.
- Begin layering the trifle by adding a layer of cookie crumbs at the bottom of the trifle dish.
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture over the crumbs, followed by a layer of chocolate pudding.
- Add another layer of cookie crumbs, cream cheese mixture, and chocolate pudding.
- Top with the remaining whipped topping, sprinkle with chopped dark chocolate, and garnish with fresh raspberries.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but the cookie crumbs may become soft over time.
