Description

A delightful dessert that combines creaminess, chocolate, and a hint of Irish charm, featuring layers of cheesecake, whipped cream, and Oreo cookies, all enhanced by Baileys Irish Cream.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 2 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth. Add 1/4 cup Baileys and beat until light and fluffy. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it thickens and doubles in volume. Add 2 tbsp Baileys, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
  3. Place Oreo cookies in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin until they form small crumbs.
  4. Layer cookie crumbs, cheesecake mixture, and whipped cream in four lowball glasses, repeating the layers.
  5. Pipe a swirl of whipped cream on top of each trifle and sprinkle extra cookie crumbs for garnish.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese. Chill mixing bowls and beaters to help whip cream faster. Adjust Baileys to taste for desired flavor strength.
