Description

A delicious and easy bacon cheeseburger rice bowl that combines all the flavors of a classic burger into a warm and comforting dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Optional: chopped pickles or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Divide the cooked rice between serving bowls.
  3. Spoon the cooked beef over the rice. Sprinkle with diced tomato and cover with shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Microwave the bowls for 30 seconds or until the cheese melts, or broil them briefly to melt the cheese.
  5. Finish with crumbled bacon and any optional toppings. Serve hot!

Notes

Feel free to use brown rice or quinoa instead of white rice for a healthier option. Experiment with toppings like avocado or jalapeños for added flavor.
