- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream or cream cheese
- 4 strips bacon, cooked & crumbled
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the penne until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain the excess fat.
- Mix the pasta, beef, sour cream, half of the cheddar, and half of the bacon in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese and bacon. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes until bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy hot.
Notes
You can add more vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition. Use different types of cheese for variety.
