Scale
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the penne pasta until it is al dente. Drain and set aside.

  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and half of the chopped bacon. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with more cheese and the remaining bacon. Broil or bake at 375°F for 10–15 minutes until it is bubbly and golden.
  6. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, mix different cheeses or add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. Great served with a side salad.
