Description

Delicious snack combining savory beef, crispy bacon, and gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for parties or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 mozzarella sticks
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Marinara or burger sauce for dipping
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain the excess grease.
  2. Let the beef mixture cool slightly, then mix in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Cut the mozzarella sticks in half. Take a spoonful of the beef mixture, flatten it out, and place a mozzarella half in the center. Mold the beef around the cheese to cover it completely.
  4. Dredge each bomb in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then roll in the breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat for a second coating.
  5. Freeze the bombs for 20–30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry the bombs until golden brown and crispy, about 3–4 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Make sure your oil is hot enough before frying for that perfect golden color. You can customize with other cheeses or toppings.
