- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 1/2 cups apple pie filling, chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for dusting)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Chop the apple pie filling into small bits. Mix it with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Flatten the biscuits slightly. Add a spoonful of the apple filling to half of the biscuits. Top each with another biscuit and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops of the biscuits with the egg wash. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, cinnamon, and milk until it forms a smooth glaze. Drizzle over the warm biscuits.
- Enjoy the biscuits warm, paired with a cup of tea or coffee!
