- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3.1 oz unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the Apple Filling: In a saucepan, combine butter, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, nutmeg, and kosher salt. Add sliced apples and cook for about 10 minutes. Stir in cornstarch mixture and set aside to cool.

- Make the Crumble Topping: Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, kosher salt, cinnamon, and melted butter until well mixed.
- Assembly: Pour half of the cheesecake mixture onto the crust. Top with cooled apple filling, then add remaining cheesecake mixture and cover with crumble topping. Bake for about 1 hour until set.
- Chill and Serve: Let cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1-2 hours, then refrigerate for at least 5 hours before serving.
Notes
Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for more flavor. Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth filling. Don’t skip the chilling step to ensure proper setting.
