Description

Delicious dessert bars combining rich cheesecake with sweet and tart apples.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (21 ounce) can Lucky Leaf Premium Apple Pie Filling
  • 3/4 cup prepared caramel sauce
  • Coarse sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray an 8 or 9-inch square pan with nonstick baking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and sugar until crumbly. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and sea salt until creamy. Add the eggs, beating on medium speed until smooth. Fold in the Lucky Leaf Apple Pie Filling gently. Spoon or pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until filling is set and edges are lightly golden. Let cool on a wire rack for 1 hour, then refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Cut into squares, drizzle with caramel sauce, and sprinkle with coarse sea salt before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
