Ingredients

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened or vanilla-flavored)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup raw almonds (or 2 tablespoons almond butter)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients: Peel the banana and avocado. If using raw almonds, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes for easier blending.
  2. In a blender, combine the banana, avocado, almond milk, honey, and almonds (or almond butter). Add ice cubes if desired.
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If too thick, add more almond milk to reach desired consistency.
  4. Pour into a glass and garnish with sliced almonds or a drizzle of honey if desired.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Stir before drinking as it may separate.
