- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened or vanilla-flavored)
- 1 tablespoon honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup raw almonds (or 2 tablespoons almond butter)
- Ice cubes (optional, for extra chill)
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients: Peel the banana and avocado. If using raw almonds, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes for easier blending.
- In a blender, combine the banana, avocado, almond milk, honey, and almonds (or almond butter). Add ice cubes if desired.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If too thick, add more almond milk to reach desired consistency.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with sliced almonds or a drizzle of honey if desired.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh. Can store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Stir before drinking as it may separate.
