- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup cherries, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup marzipan, crumbled
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Stir in the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread the cherries, marzipan, and pecans evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, then cut into rounds.
- Place the rounds in a baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
