Description
Quick and flavorful chicken shawarma wraps made in the air fryer, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients

- 2 boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Naan or pita bread
- Lettuce, chopped
- Red onion, thinly sliced
- Tomatoes, diced
- Fresh parsley
- Yogurt sauce or garlic tahini sauce
Instructions
- Toss the chicken with all the marinade ingredients. Let it rest for 30 minutes or overnight for more flavor.
- Air fry the chicken at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispness.
- Warm the naan or pita bread and layer it with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and the cooked chicken.
- Drizzle yogurt sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve with hummus or extra sauce on the side.
Notes
Marinating the chicken overnight will enhance the flavors. Adjust the spices to suit your taste.
