Description

Quick and flavorful chicken shawarma wraps made in the air fryer, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Naan or pita bread
  • Lettuce, chopped
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • Fresh parsley
  • Yogurt sauce or garlic tahini sauce

Instructions

  1. Toss the chicken with all the marinade ingredients. Let it rest for 30 minutes or overnight for more flavor.
  2. Air fry the chicken at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispness.
  3. Warm the naan or pita bread and layer it with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and the cooked chicken.
  4. Drizzle yogurt sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley.
  5. Serve with hummus or extra sauce on the side.

Notes

Marinating the chicken overnight will enhance the flavors. Adjust the spices to suit your taste.
