Description

Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, these air fryer baked potatoes are a quick and easy side dish that pairs well with many meals.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt (preferably flaky sea salt)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (1 tbsp per potato)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Scrub the potatoes clean and pat them dry. Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  2. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the skins are crisp and the potatoes are fork-tender.
  3. Slice the tops open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, chives, salt, and pepper to each potato.
  4. For extra melt and crispiness, return the potatoes to the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.

Notes

Choose similar-sized potatoes for even cooking. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
