  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • White cream (buttercream or similar)
  • Chocolate ganache
  • Fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar and vegetable oil, then add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, alternating with milk until well combined.
  5. Divide the batter equally among the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  7. Once cooled, layer the cakes with white cream in between each.
  8. Pour chocolate ganache on top and decorate with fresh strawberries.
  9. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
